Letter from the President

I want to take this opportunity to welcome all of the new members and our returning members to FMA. We have some great presenters lined up for you. By being a member of FMA, you have a team behind you, giving you the greatest advantage you can have when you look for a job, whether it is an internship or a full time position. We will keep you informed of any job openings, internship positions, and leadership opportunities, while also providing you the opportunity to establish your network.

I am very excited to have Bob Frahm II, come speak to us February 18th. He is a graduate of San Jose State and a retired Goldman Sachs partner. Bring your questions and be ready for an insightful discussion. We will also be featuring presenters from corporations such as Cisco, Target, Symantec and Ken Caveney of the San Jose Sharks. We also have some great NHS networking events lined up and opportunities for community service.

In this job market, we are competing with students and graduates of Stanford University, Berkeley and Santa Clara, in addition to the droves of laid off workers in Silicon Valley. Now is the time to take advantage of the opportunities that are available to you here. Set yourself apart from the crowd - create your network, be active in your club.
